If you are a hard core exercise buff, this treadmill is not for you. But it is perfect for someone just starting an exercise program or who needs a simple machine to start a walking program.
This Lifestyler Ergometer Treadmill is a made in the USA treadmill that has an electronic operation board for Time, Speed, Distance, Cadence, Calories and Pulse (the board runs on a battery). This is an older model but in good working condition. Although it was originally meant to go up to 6mph, I think it runs best up to 3.2 mph. Although you can adjust the incline, it is done manually at the front of the machine. I have removed the side rails, but have them available. I am not sure of the treadmill's age, but I bought it sometime after 1988.
From looking at the Sears parts store catalog, I believe it is a Model # 212850 - Dp Lifestyler ergometer treadmill. I have not been able to locate the manual for it and I can find no model number on it (I even looked underneath it). The only writing is "Lifestyler Ergometer Treadmill" but the electronic unit has "Dp" on it. I probably have the manual for it--I just have not opened the right drawer or box yet.
