I used to make Victorian style lampshades, can no longer make them due to ache joints in my fingers. I bought a silk scarf from the Harley Davidson store and used the eagle with flames on both sides of this lampshade. I have not added beads to this frame. The braid trim is not put on yet, a simple thing for me to do. Each panel is handsewn on. Lining first then fabrics. This is a pretty large frame, does not have a lamp, just the frame itself. Best lamp for it would be a floor lamp. Great gift idea for the Harley collector. No one else would have one like this, it was a custom shade I made!

Each panel is hand sewn on starting with lining. I found the Harley Davidson fabric at a garage sale and use it on both sides of the lamp. I incorporated black fabric that looks like leather, spider web fabric to look like airbrush on a motorcycle and rivets. The beads were strung and sewn on lampshade to appear as chrome and glass. The lamp I bought new, this sale includes lampshade and lamp!
