2002 Olympics Men's Winter Coat, Bowl Pants, and Vest (858 East 250 South, Bo... ...more
All three of the following 2002 Winter Olympic Men's clothing items will be sold for $250. Potential buyers are invited to examine the items personally:
2002 Winter Olympics Men's Winter Coat - Made by Marker. Size L Coat has nylon shell and lining with polyester insulation. Coat was issued to State of Utah Public Health-related employees who had assigned responsibilities during the Olympics. Words "Salt Lake 2002" with colored Olympic symbols are on the left chest. Words "Utah Department of Environmental Quality" with colored department symbol are on the right chest. Four colors on coat - "boysenberry" or magenta (primary color, on front and back, and on inside border of front zipper), gray (on shoulders, top of back, and front of arms), black (bottom border, back of arms, inside of collar, and most of inside lining) and "herringbone" gray/black (back of collar. Coat has 7 pockets (two on front, two inside lining, and one on left sleeve) plus 2 underarm vents, all of which have zippers with black tabs. Two Velcro tabs on or near front collar. A full-length flap, closed by four metal snaps (each with word "Marker"), covers the front zipper. Two plastic finger-tab adjusters are on bottom of coat. A nylon hood, enclosed by a Velcro fastener, fits into a pocket under the collar. Velcro tighteners on sleeve cuffs. I wore the coat twice during the Olympics, then hung it in my closet until now. This coat is guaranteed to be essentially new and unused.. The original coat tags were discarded, but the SRP was probably about $150-$175.
2002 Olympic Men's Bowl Pants - Made by Rawik; Side Zip, Style 8015A, Size XL, Color is Black (ski pants) -- SRP $80. Pants were issued to State of Utah Public Health-related employees who had assigned responsibilities during the Olympics. Full length zippers with outside velcro fasteners (four/zipper) extend from the waist on both sides to the bottom of both legs. Right rear pocket with zipper. One of the Rawik tags reads as follows: "This outerwear garment is made of fabric that has been treated with waterproof coating on the underside and a water repellent finish on the outside. Although seams are not sealed, this garment is considered to be highly waterproof and will provide protection against rain, show, and wind." These pants have never been worn; the original tags (3) are still attached.

Words "Utah Department of Environmental Quality" with colored department symbol are on the left chest. Primary color "boysenberry" or magenta with black border along sides and top of back.
