This is a very beautiful watercolor by artist Wan Lee. Custom framing with ornate design. Matted in beige satin fabric. Wan Lee was born in Hong Kong in 1935. She studied art for 5 years at the Chow-tse-lao Scool of Design. She has particupated in shows in London, Buenos Aries, Argentina and Lima Peru. The artist which she admires most is Hokusai. For three years she worked with the Peace Corps. Sice 1960 she has been living in the United States. Her oriental painting have a very realistic oriental feeling to them and have been admired and sought after by leading galleries. Good condition. This is an elaborate carving by a Native American Indian. Carved out of one piece of gorgeous stone. I purchased this piece about ten years ago in Moab, Utah. The artist is renouned in the Southwest. I believe it is signed on the bottom. I will try to find the paperwork of authenticity that I was given when I purchased it from Hogan's Gift Shop in Moab. I paid $800.00 plus tax. It is a breath-taking sculpture. If you would like to see her, give me a call. Dimensions: H = 16", W = 18" and D = 10". Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or flaws.
