Its been down some big stuff. Its got a crack in the center of it. It has paint all over it (the word JED). Its covered in stickers and full of
stories. Itll hold 2 coolers, 2 guitars, 4 people, a dog, and enough camping gear for 3 days without tipping on class 2 waves.
It doesnt leak. The bottom has a few layers of fiberglass that are peeling but strong enough. Prob could handle a new layer.
Its gorilla tape you see on the other side.

Fishing and Hunting boat, trailer and motor... plus over $1,500 in extras that come with the boat, and $1,500 in improvements and upkeep to the motor/propeller.
I purchased this Waco 16 foot, 50" wide (Waco model BW-50MV) boat about 4 years ago and the motor a year later. It hunts three guys comfortably from inside the blind, and fished three comfortably with the blind removed, plus room for gear. It is an amazing boat on the marsh, or the river, with a powerful motor and the response and handling of a semi V. It is a 2005 open floor all welded and has been garage kept its whole life. I have taken this boat on three weekend trips to the White River, no more than 10 day trips on the Mississippi River, and another 20 day trips to duck hunting locations. The motor is quiet, efficient, and STUNNINGLY powerful. The boat is rated for 40HP and it has an over-sized50HP on it, sized larger to offset the displacement of an aftermarket aluminum Mac's River Runner Prop Protector (see photo). I have clocked this boat at a blazing 40MPH with some left in the throttle. . . which is "hair on fire" fast for an aluminum semi-V.

- Duraliner floor cover
- Double anchors for stable duck hunting (15lb each) (+$50)
- Massive 12 gallon OEM gas tank (+$100)

- Bearing Buddies and covers (+$25)
- Spare tire and rim (+$125)
- The trailer was completely re-wired in 2011 and the berrings relubricated every time the boat leaves the garage.
The motor is a massive 50HP Mercury (1999, 2 stroke, either 3 or 4 cylinders) with VERY LOW HOURS. The previous owner, an Iowa farmer, put 19 hours on the motor. I have put an additional 40 hours since I have owned it. The motor is a direct injection 2 cycle with an in-motor oil reservoir. It also features a dual on-engine and remote switch hydraulic lift to adjust tilt and plane (+$300). The key and oil alarm are remote, meaning that they are attached to the boat (for free hand operation of the motor starter and trim). I added a 3-blade 11/1 stainless prop (+$350) on this boat that is air-ported (allows for faster hole shot). I also have a spare prop that comes with the boat (+$125), as well as extra prop hardware, nuts and such. Finally, I had installed a Mac's River Rummer Prop Protector (+$150) on the boat as well, which keeps the blades protected when river fishing. There is not a scratch on the mud guard... this motor has never touched anything but water. In early 2010, I had the impeller replaced, a complete tune up, and the motor bored by 2 thousands (+$700) when I bought it so it is likely a few percent more powerful than 50HP. This boat is rated for 40HP, so buyer assumes all risk associated with the oversized motor.

Get it before spring and the prices go up. Ready for the water. All you need is your fishing poles and you're ready to go. 1978 Hydra Sport V184 with a 150 hp Mercury Blackmax. It has a Laser 2 Quicksilver 23p prop with hydro foil. Compression on the motor is between 115 and 120 psi on every cylinder. It has a new water pump and both thermostats installed at the beginning of summer. I just installed a new 3 bank on board charger for the two trolling batteries and the cranking battery. Boat runs great, about 46 mph on gps with 2 men and loaded with fuel and gear. Has power trim, hotfoot accelerater, depth/fish finder on the console and at the front. Interior was redone including all wood replaced with marine grade, new carpet and seats, all electrical gone thru and either checked or replaced. The live well has been replumbed, new bilge and aerater pumps. 56lbs thrust Motorguide trolling motor installed the begining of summer with transducer for depth finder. It's got two folding seats for the decks. Has matching Hydra Sport trailor. This boat rides great even in rough water and is in very good condition for its age. The hull is made with Kevlar and can take some abuse. This boat was made in May of 1978 ( Thanks for your help John) and is one of the nicest '78 model boats you will find. THis boat is immaculate...2005 SeaRay Sundancer 260 28' 6.2 Liter V8 Mercruiser Bravo 3 outdrive ( 200hrs on engine). Runs, drives, and rides great! I hate to get rid of it but I need the money and Im traveling now so I will not be around to enjoy the boat and I hate that it is just sitting. It does come with the Tri-axle trailer, 5 kw generator (approx. 400hrs), Air Conditioning, Refrigerator, Electric/ alcohol stove, 6 gallon hot water tank, Head w/shower, TV/DVD player, Hydraulic Trim Tabs, 26 gallon fresh water tank, portable propane grill attached to the front, and Camper cover... The works, this boat it loaded and in mint condition. All the interior is in great condition. It has been very well maintained... Everything on this boat works great. I have never had any problems with it. Everything is in perfect condition, just like new!
The boat does have an extended warranty that expires 1-28-13.
Boat is located at 4 Corners Yacht Club with great slip location at Slip D-11. If you are wanting to be a 4 Corners Yatch club, this is the slip to have!!! Front row seating to the many of the great bands that play on those Saturday summer nights at the restaurant!
Boat lift and slip included, slip is paid up to May 2012. THe lift is an Ozark 4 tank boat lift.
