Figured Maple Nautical Dresser, Ooak (Cranston, RI) ...more
This antique 3 drawer dresser with dock cleat like brass pulls in solid figured maple has recently been refinished to natural wood with a high gloss finish on top. It is lovely! It is 44" long by 18 and 1/2 wide and 34" tall. The drawers are each 38x15 and 1/2x7".We contacted Kahn's nautical antiques to ask questions about this piece since it was impossible to find anything similar online. There's a decent possibility this is a custom-made professional quality piece.
The bottom right photo is the best representation of the true color. The top two shots are a bit washed-out from too much sun and lousy photo skills.
We are taking serious offers over 500.00.

This desk has been in my family forever - I was told it dates to pre civil war but that was from family that has long passed on now. One thing for sure is that it is a quality piece that used to be painted black that I refinished more than 30 years ago now. There are no furniture markings or codes on it so this could be a one of a kind craftsman made piece - one thing I know for sure is that the piece is as solid as a rock.
