If you're looking for a decent quality road bike, and you don't want to spend the big bucks on a new one, this ad is for you. I'm selling a nice older Lotus 12-speed road bike, used but in excellent "ready to ride" condition. The frame size is 24" (61cm) center-center, and the standover height is 35", you need to be at least 6' tall in order to ride the bike! I'm 6' even and while I can ride the bike, there's just not enough "clearance" when I straddle the top tube. The bike has all Shimano 600 "Arabesque" components (Shimano used the label "Shimano 600" prior to changing over to "Ultegra" back in the 1980s). The bike has 27" wheels with alloy rims and quick releases front and rear, the tires are older but still useable. Cosmetically the bike is in good condition, the paint is in good shape but not perfect (there is some paint missing here and there, typical for a used bike from the 1980s). The bike has been recently serviced, everything is in good working condition and nothing needs to be repaired. The pic shows the bike with bare bandlebars, but don't worry the bike will come with new handlebar tape installed. Also, the Burley trailer hitch shown in the pic (on the rear axle) is not included. I'm selling the bike for $275 (cash only please), and that's a good deal for a bike of this quality so the price is firm. I'm in the Beaverton area, and I'm right on a Trimet line. This is the top of the line model, lightweight aluminum, and comes with a carrying case. The difference with the current models is that the legs are offset at the center, to provide better stability. New cost was 239.00, purchased in 2004. Used infrequently, it has a few scratches on one of the legs. The bike can be rotated 360 degrees, and the jaws are coated to prevent scratching the paint. I have a Burley stroller kit that works on older Burley trailers. It has been used but it's in excellent condition. It consists of an aluminum push bar, along with the front wheel assembly. Once installed this will allow you to use your Burley trailer both as a tow-behind on your bike, and then as a push stroller when you get to where you're going. Please note that this is for the older Burley trailers (think: yellow and red color scheme from the 1990s). If you have one of the Burleys with the yellow and blue color scheme then your trailer is probably too new for this kit to fit. RED + CHROME Schwinn Stingray OCC Chopper - Very nice condition
One of the coolest bikes ever made! This one is clean. These are already becoming collectors items due to the short run. They will certainly increase in value as the years go by. The tires show almost no wear! It has a Red frame and red fenders. The characteristic fat Boa rear tire and skinny front Stingray tire. The paint on the fenders is fantastic and the decals are all clean. It has a couple little chips but could almost pass for new and would make a great Christmas gift your little biker..
