1999 GT Ricochet, Hardtail Mountain Bike, 18 in, $200
This frame size generally correlates with a size Medium and should fit most male riders in the height range of 5'7" to 5'11". I am 6'1" and it is slightly small for me (I am more comfortable now on a 19 in or size Large frame).

I purchased this bike in late 1999, and rode it recreationally for several years. I started riding it more in 2004 and 2005, and then upgraded to a full suspension in the 2006 season. I have kept it since then as an extra bike for out-of-town friends and family to use, but it has been getting less and less use. It was not ridden at all in 2010 and 2011.

This would be a great bike for a beginner or youth biker just getting started in mountain bike trail riding. The GT Triple Triangle frame design is known to be rigid and stiff, and the bike climbs very efficiently with minimal flex and wash out through the pedal stroke. It would also be suitable for a general use bike to ride around town, and would hold up well to curb hoping or dirt trails (like those along Cherry Creek Bike Path) when encountered. Please email with any questions, thanks for looking.

84 davidson impulse 58cm custom built. chris king. phil wood (lakewood) $2200  ...more
beauty of a bike. tried selling on ebay but would love to sell locally. view ebay description. i never relisted it. :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/170734479924?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649#ht_862wt_932

This bike is an absolute beauty and joy. 58.5 cm frame (ok, I just measured it and I get 23 1/4 inches center to center, which comes out between 58.5 and 59 cm, c-t-c) . pristine 1987 davidson impulse, by the legendary bill davidson http://www.davidsonbicycles.com/

I hand picked every single component for a superior ride with classic styling. I will truly be sad to see it go. Only selling because I'm itching to own a Masi GC.

I love the geometry of the frame. perfectly relaxed yet responsive. the lugwork has a distincly japanese look even thought these bikes were built in Seattle. The tubing is tange prestige. [Tange prestige is lighter and (in my opinion) better than reynolds 531, which MANY ultra high end bikes were built out of in the early 80's.] The bike is ULTRA smooth to ride. The wheelset (phil wood!) is absolutely phenomenal and perfectly true. Also, it turns like butter due to the chris king headset (new when i built the bike. have receipt)

highly detailed pictures upon request. message your email and what you would like a picture of and i will send them.

For those of you who know what the CR list is, I built this bike from there.(when I say 'I' built I mean it was professionally built out of my components by urbanistic bike shop here in denver) Some of the components are new, but i tried hard to keep an old steel feel.

this bike is a joy to ride. her name is racey. she weighed out at 23 pounds, but that includes a brooks saddle, leather bar wrap, extra thick tubes and chain, metal cage pedals with leather, and a rear light attachment. so, if you swapped the pedals for clip ins, got a race saddle and cork tape and swapped tubes i could easily see this being a sub 20 pound bike, which is incredible for an old steel frame.

ill do my best to remember the components. bike has about 200 miles on it, built it last summer and babied it. still have receipts for most stuff.

please note im keeping the saddle pictured.

silver chris king headset, purchased new.

long cinelli stem

modolo speedy brakes(often seen as an upgrade from campagnolo, and I agree. I love the responsiveness of these brakes as well as their look. They are equipped with red pads)

cane creek scr-5 brake levers purchased new, with tan hoods.

toshi leather bar wrap purchased new. Also has cork wrapped underneath the leather selectively where your hand touches the bar to give a cushy double wrapped feel.

Spectacular prima handlebars

shimano 600 ex (ARABESQUE!!!) rear derailler and downtube shifters. have front derailler also but this frame requires a braze on front derailler, which is new shimano tiagra (if
you have never seen shimano arabesque stuff google it...it looks super cool. shimano 600 was shimano's answer to campagnolo record) I will gladly include the other front derailler if it is desired. Just message me when you buy it.

phil wood hubs hand laced to mavic open pros. dont remember what tires.

mks pedals and cages, leather cage cover purchased new

thompson elite seatpost

shimano 600 crankset

cant remember what kind of bottom bracket, but it was expensive and new.

dont think im forgetting anything, lemme know if i am.

local pick up in the denver area would be great. otherwise will be professionally packed. Because it has to be done in a bike shop, understand there will be a couple days handling time (however long it takes the bike shop, shouldnt be more than a few days) I will ship internationally. buyer pays actual shipping cost (will include receipt to prove shipping cost)

You can theoretically make me an offer, but I am likely to turn it down. I do not really need to sell this bike and am certainly not in a hurry, especially with how well it rides. I recently rode a 70's colnago full restoration with campy super record grouppo, and I can honestly say this davidson blew it out of the water as far as ride quality goes. I've truly never ridden a classic bike that feels as smooth as this one.

Good Luck, and please take good care of her :)

60cm 1984 Trek 420 (Lakewood) $275  ...more
cool bike. check out link for brochure.
http://vintage-trek.com/TrekBrochure1984Touring.htm

the trek 420 was the touring version of the trek 400 series.

original except brakes upgraded to shimano 105 and rack has been added. I have a few other parts lyin around if u had a different upgrade in mind(i have a couple cool saddles, wheelsets, campy chainrings if u wanna make it a fixie, various boxes of other stuff)

i havent fixed it up yet, so i'm selling a bit cheaper than Iwould otherwise. Only fixes are super basic though. I can do them for a slight upcharge.
Needs tape for sure. I would personally replace cables and tires and give it a good wipe down, but it isn't necessary. fenders may need to be removed. that's all that is needed.

don't have a camera so pics arent of my bike, found them on the net. text me and ill text you a picture if you want. mine is purple with gold decals.
