Don't throw away that laptop! A design flaw with this series of laptops made it so you don't have any video at all, even if you plug in an external video output device. Anyway, more than likely your warranty is expired and you no longer qualify to be in on a class action suit filed against HP/Compaq that would get it fixed for free, but I can help. I can fix it for a flat rate of 75 dollars where others will charge 125 or more.
