Two sets of six (12) wonderful Dorothy Thorpe silver band tumbler and Highball glasses. These are popular because Thorpe items have been featured on the show the Mad Men! These are the cylinder glasses as opposed to the round glasses seen in the show. These sell on ebay for about $60 for a 6 piece set so this is a steal. Honest do a quick google search.
They're in good vintage condition with no cracks or major damage. However, the glasses have quite a bit of wear and tarnish to the silver. Because the Thorpe silver band glass items have silver on BOTH sides of the glass, it may still be acceptable that some of the silver has come off. However, please keep this wear in mind as this is reflected in the price. I have not cleaned or polished these at all.
